Fade (Band)
Fade is a company incorporated in this compilation 2002 Japanese rock band. They describe their style as " California Roll of Rock", an allusion to their motley composition. Two of the band members grew up in New York, but are originally Japanese origin, while the singer of the band is American. They have released their debut album in Japan.
History
Rui and kansei, both Japanese, who grew up in New York, her musical career began already 1992 1994 joined noriyuki and 1998 5 ° (pronounced: Godo ). . In the same year they were playing their first live in Tokyo, then with norikyuki on vocals and other bassists.
In 1999, she changed her base from New York to Tokyo, and finally, a native of Seattle Jon Underdown joined them in 2002 as the new singer of which had originally come as an exchange student to Tokyo. Back in January of the following year they released their first Ablum "fade". The second album was released in March 2005 under the name A Moment of Truth and was recorded in LA. The third Followed in August of the same year with the title Under the Sun.
Again, two years later, the album To Find A Better Tomorrow, this was listed in the Japanese charts with Western music and not Japanese music. 2009 then the band has performed at several festivals, including those in Korea or with artists such as Limp Bizkit and Judas Priest. In the same year they also released their fifth album Age of Innocence.
2010 was the focus of appearances. They played again at some festivals and toured Japan.
But they were well known in the German fan scene until 2011, when singer Jon Underdown, the second singer of YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz was the first singer Gackt. In the same year fade released the album Kings of Dawn, which was released in late 2011 in Germany by Gan -Shin.
2012 again focused on a few tours, and the release of the album TEN (天).
Style
Unlike many other Japanese rock bands, the music oriented from fade more at the western hard rock. The Western influences are much clearer to hear. The lyrics switch between Japanese and English.
