The Oriental beech ( Fagus orientalis) is a tree from the kind of beech (Fagus ). It is closely related to the beech ( F. sylvatica ); sometimes it is used as the subspecies F. sylvatica ssp. orientalis ( Lipsky ) Greuter & Burdet described.

Description

The Oriental beech reaches stature heights up to 40 meters.
