Faissal Ebnoutalib

Faissal Ebnoutalib ( born November 20, 1970 in Nador, Morocco ) is a Moroccan -born taekwondo athletes and coaches who won the 2000 Olympic silver for Germany. He is also a Wing Chun master.

Career

After his successful career as an athlete Faissal Ebnoutalib now works as a Taekwondo trainer. Ebnoutalib began with five years of Taekwondo training and launched the age of 15 for the Moroccan national team. In 1990 he moved to Germany, where he continued his professionalized sports activities together with his brother Mohamed Ebnoutalib, who later became Vice World Champion of 2003. 1997 acquired Ebnoutalib the German nationality, and then started for the German national team Taekwondo (DTU ).

Ebnoutalib is married, has three children and is the winner of 4th Dan ( WTF taekwondo ). In addition to Taekwondo he operates, inter alia athletics, boxing and jogging in return.

Olympic and International success

His biggest international success Ebnoutalib won at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where he (up to 80 kg) won the first official Olympic medal for Germany at middleweight and Olympic silver medalist was.
