The Faiveley Faiveley Transport Leipzig has a global center of excellence for Air Conditioning in Schkeuditz (about 250 employees).

Faiveley develops and manufactures on-board train systems. It offers products of the passenger access such as security gates (platform screen doors ), entry doors, movable stages and interior doors for passenger cars; Board air conditioning systems and pantographs, switchgear, contactors and main switch, integrated power management switch, roof equipment and security solutions. History

Since the company's inception in 1919, the name Faiveley exists. The company started with electromechanical equipment parts for public transport such as taxis, subway and coaches.
