Falconbridge Ltd.

Falconbridge Limited was a Canadian mining company with headquarters in Toronto. The company operated offices in 18 countries worldwide, which dealt with the exploration, production, processing and marketing of metals and mineral products. Main products of Falconbridge were nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum. In June 2005, the company merged with Noranda Inc., and the Company was continued under the name Falconbridge.

The main mining region of the ores of Falconbridge was around the Sudbury Basin.
