Falkland Islands official football team

The football team of the Falkland Islands is a selection of the best football players in the Falkland Islands. It is not recognized by the CONMEBOL even by FIFA as an official member. The opponents of the team are limited generally to other teams in the United Kingdom or other national teams of autonomous islands. In the years 2001, 2005, 2009 and 2011, the team at the football tournament of the Games Iceland participated.

The team plays mostly on the football field at Stanley Stadium in Stanley, the capital of the islands; rare is also played on the square of the Stanley Community School.
