Falko Krismayr

Falko is a former Austrian ski jumper Krismayr.

Krismayer belonged from 1996 to the Austrian squad for the FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup (COC ). In his first season he was able to jump 342 points at No. 27 overall. At the Junior World Championships 1997 Canadian Canmore, he won the bronze medal behind Norwegian Wilhelm Brenna and the Finn Jussi Hautamäki in the individual competition of the K89 ski jump. In the team competition, he won jointly with Thomas Hoerl, Karl -Heinz Dorner and Wolfgang Loitzl bronze. After he had a successful start to the 1997/98 Continental Cup season, he was on 8 December 1997 in Villach his debut in the World Cup Ski Jumping. From the normal hill he jumped here on the 45th. The 1997/98 season he finished shortly thereafter with 707 COC points at No. 2 of the Continental Cup overall standings. End of February 1998 he was part of the Austrian squad for the World Cup ski flying in Vikersund. He was able to win his first World Cup points with number 23 on the first day. So he took the end of the World Cup season 1997/98 80th place in the overall World Cup standings. In the ski flying standings he came on the 42nd place. The following season he started again at three World Cup competitions in Harrachov and Sapporo, where he again succeeded in profit of World Cup points in Harrachov. The Continental Cup 1998/99 season he finished in 9th place in the overall standings. After a rather unsuccessful season 1999 /00 Krismayer ended 2000, his active ski jumping career.
