Fallon, Haute-Saône

Fallon is a commune in Haute -Saône in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Fallon is located at an altitude of 340 m above sea level, 6 km southeast of Villers Exel and about 27 km east-southeast of the city of Vesoul (air line). The village is located in a valley in the headwaters of the Grand Ru on the northwestern edge of the hills, which stretches between the valleys of Ognon and Doubs, at the western foot of the projection of Grammont.

The area of ​​5.64 km ² municipal area includes a portion of the hills southeast of the Ognontals. The main part of the area occupied by the north open semicircular depression Fallon. It is drained by the Grand Ru, which is dammed below the village to a pond north to Scey. This trough with their relatively gently inclined slopes is primarily used for agricultural purposes. History
