Fandriana

Province

Fandriana is a rural community on the east coast of Madagascar. It is the headquarters of the district of the same name, in the region Amoron'i Mania. The majority of its population are Betsileos.

Geography

The village is located on the National Road 41, the National Road 7 located about 41 km from the intersection near Ankelikapona. Situated at about 1400 meters above sea level, the place has a pleasant fresh climate with a vegetation that is dominated by pine and eucalyptus.

Nature

In the area Fandriana - Marolambo created a national park, which is to include approximately 80,000 acres.

Economy

Nearby Ambodivoara is fired, a traditional cane liquor.
