Far Eastern State Technical University

The State Technical University of the Far East (Russian Дальневосточный государственный технический университет, Dalnewostotschny gosudarstwenny technitscheski uniwersitet ), short FESTU, is a technical state university in the Russian city of Vladivostok on the Pacific Ocean.

The State Technical University of the Far East was (Russian: Дальневосточный политехнический институт ) on 20 February 1930 as Far Eastern Polytechnic Institute founded. Although the State University of the Far East Vladivostok is the real successor of the Far East Institute founded in 1899, the former building of the institute is now the main building of the Far Eastern State Technical University.
