Farnetta

Farnetta (Latin: Castrum Farnectae ) is a part of the municipality of Montecastrilli in the province of Terni.

The town is located 385 m slm, on a small mountain in the region of Umbria. It is about 4 km from Montecastrilli and 3 km from Avigliano away. According to a census in 2001 246 inhabitants lived in Farnetta. 2004, there were 283

History

The village has existed since the Middle Ages. In addition, there are two documents, the first document is from the year 1174th The document reported by a German Count of Rapizone, churches and country has given to the abbey of Farfa.
