Faruk Gül (footballer)

Faruk Gul ( born August 15, 1988 in Steinfurt ) is a German footballer of Turkish descent.

Career

Between 2009 and 2011 he played at the 1st FC Heidenheim 1846. His professional debut was on July 25, 2009 when he appeared as a substitute in a 2-2 draw against Borussia Wuppertal SV on the opening day of the 2009/10 season. Overall Gül attended 34 games for Heidenheim, was in his second year there, but only eight appearances in the third league. After the season he left the club and joined in July 2011, the Swiss third division side FC Schaffhausen.

He played for Germany at the Under-17 European Championship and came up with two inserts.
