Fary Faye

Fary Faye ( born December 24, 1974 in Dakar ) is a Senegalese football player.

Career

In Senegal, Faye played until 1992 for Jeanne d' Arc de Dakar and moved to the capital club ASC Diaraf. In 1996 he moved to Portugal to third division side União de Montemor, where he remained two years. 1998 signed him the SC Beira Mar Aveiro from. Here, Faye became one of the most successful striker in Portugal. He played successfully in the Senegalese national team. In the season 2002/ 03 Faye was Simão Sabrosa, together with Benfica scorer in the Portuguese Super Liga.
