Fasta Åland (Finnish Manner Ahvenanmaa or Ahvenanmanner ) is the main island of Åland archipelago.

Strictly speaking, it is an archipelago of several large islands, but are very close together and are connected by bridges. So Eckerö example, actually its own island, but is expected to Fasta Åland.

Fasta Åland measures about 50 km in north-south and 45 km in west-east direction. With an area of 1010 km ² it is the largest island in the Baltic Sea waters in Finland. Fasta Åland occupies about 70 % of the area of the autonomous province of Åland, nine out of ten people on Åland live on the main island. In addition to the provincial capital Mariehamn communities Eckerö Finström, Geta, Hammarland, Jomala Lemland, Lumparland Saltvik and Sund are on Fasta Åland. The highest elevation of the island is 129 m high Orrdalsklint.
