Fastjet

FastJet is an African low-cost airline based in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and based on the Dar es Salaam airport.

History

FastJet was founded in 2011 and adopted on 29 November 2012, flight operations. Founder Stelios Haji -Ioannou, who founded the British budget airline easyJet and the corporate group easyGroup. In the month after the operation recording the acquisition of the insolvent 1time and the expansion of their South African home market has been announced.

Destinations

FastJet currently flies (February 2014) from Dar Es Salaam from within Tanzania to Mwanza and Kilimanjaro and then on to Zanzibar. In addition, a link to Mbeya is offered. Africa wide of Johannesburg ( South Africa) airport and airport Lusaka ( Zambia) are served.
