Fathers 4 Justice

Fathers 4 Justice (German "Fathers for Justice" ), also called short f4j, is a lobby group with action groups in the UK, the Netherlands, the USA, Canada, Australia, Italy and Sweden. It advocates for joint custody, family law reforms and fathers' rights.

A hallmark of f4j actions is that they are always well organized and effective public a stir. The actions are often staged as a media spectacle and, although the "Fathers 4 Justice " itself as a harmless call, sometimes regarded as militant.

History

2004

2004 saw the six-hour occupation of a balcony of Buckingham Palace dressed as Batman by a father for a worldwide media coverage.

On 19 May 2004 Prime Minister Tony Blair with condoms filled with purple flour, thrown in the House. The aim of the " guerrilla " actions was to draw attention from the viewpoint of "Fathers 4 Justice " virtually lawless situation of fathers and thus to pressure politicians to bring about legislative changes in family law.

In May 2004, The Times wrote: " Only 18 months after its inception, this group is the most famous guerrilla - interest group in the UK ."

2005

From the BBC the group in March 2005 has been called " the world's fastest growing interest group."

Due to the militancy and criminal offense of some members who attended the public for strong displeasure, it was the end of 2005 to disputes within the group. 40 men were deprived of membership in the organization end of 2005/early 2006. The immediate cause was a conspiracy of some f4j members to kidnap the then five- year-old son of Prime Minister Tony Blair. The excluded members founded the Real Fathers 4 Justice. 2006

2007

In November 2007, the club was founded Fathers for Justice in Germany.

2008
