Faustina Hasse Hodges

Faustina Hasse Hodges ( born August 7, 1822 in Malmesbury, † February 4, 1895 in Philadelphia ) was an American composer and organist.

Life

Faustina Hasse Hodges was the daughter of Edward Hodges and worked as an organist in Brooklyn and in 1878 in Philadelphia. She composed instrumental pieces and sacred songs, as well as secular songs and piano pieces. She wrote a biography of her father, which appeared in 1896 in the print.
