Fausto Rossini

Fausto Rossini (born 2 March 1978 in Grosseto) is an Italian football player.

The striker stands since 2010 in Como Calcio under contract. Rossini is known for his good heading ability and his physical strength.

Association

Rossini began his professional football career at Atalanta, in which he already played in his youth. Earlier in his career (1997) he was first hired at OGC Nice, for which he, however, in half a year has seen not a single use. For six years he played then for Atalanta, and played with this club a total of 104 league games. 2003 Rossini was loaned to Bologna and Sampdoria in 2004. He could not put there because of its poor goal tally (in two years, only three goals). Even at his next club Udinese Calcio, he was not successful, so he re- joined the club the following year and this time landed in the Serie A climber Catania. Despite that he was denied even this breakthrough, he is the tifosi from Catania to remain in your memory forever, as Rossini, who, with his 1-0 goal against Chievo be in the league for on the final day of the Serie A 2006/ 07 was able to secure a team.

For the 2007 /08 season Rossini stood at AS Livorno under contract. At Leghorn he was in his first season usually only a substitute and went with his team to Serie B from. After successful promotion back to Serie A, one year later, Livorno broke the contract with Rossini on in June 2009.

On 2 February 2010, he signed a contract until the end of the season at AC Bellinzona. After his contract expires in Bellinzona, the attacker returned to his homeland and signed for Como Calcio.

National

Rossini played two games in 1998 for the Italian U-21 national team, in which he scored a goal.
