Fay Grim is an American film directed by Hal Hartley from the year 2006. The film is the sequel to Hartley's Henry Fool by 1997. Fay Grim premiered on 11 September 2006 at the Toronto Film Festival. Then he ran in competition at the Sundance Film Festival and in the Panorama section of the International Film Festival in Berlin in 2007.
Action
Seven years ago, Henry Fool unintentionally killed a neighbor and went into hiding. His brother Simon Grim was sentenced to 10 years in prison for escape assistance. In his cell, he comes to the conclusion that in Henry's missing diaries sensitive information are included. Meanwhile Henry's wife Fay Grim lives with her 14 -year-old son in Queens. One day she is informed by CIA agents that her husband had come shortly after his immersion in a hotel fire in Sweden killed. The agents blackmail Fay 's diaries, which are owned by the French government to raise again.
