Fay Na
Fay Na or Fay Close ( Prince [ Chao Mueang ] Nakhon Champasak [ Negara Champasakra ]; full throne name Brhat Vijaya Raja Khatiya Varman, Vichaiyarat Khattiyawongse; * mid-18th century, † 1811) was from 1791 bis 1807/11 ruler with the powers a king is among Siamese suzerainty in the realm Champasak.
Fay Na was the eldest son of Phra Ta, a member of Suvarnkut family. Prior to his appointment as ruler, he served as Governor of Yasudara. 1791 appointed him King Rama I of Siam to the Prince - Governor ( Chao Mueang ), and granted him the title Phra Raja Vijaya Varman Khatiya. He formed a new capital at Ban Kantakoeng, which was renamed in Nakhon Champasak.
Fay Na died in 1811 leaving two sons and three daughters:
