FC Baia Zugdidi

FC Baia Zugdidi The (Georgian ბაია ზუგდიდი ) is a Georgian football club based in Zugdidi. He plays in the top division of Georgia, Umaghlessi league. The club colors are red and white.

Achievements

In 2002, the club was founded under the name FC Spartak Lasika Zugdidi. In the second year the club was able to play in the first Georgian league, but reached there but only the 11th place therefore increased after just one season again. After a few years in the second division, the club managed in 2007 under its new name FC Mglebi Zugdidi (Georgian მგლები ზუგდიდი to German: Wolves Zugdidi ) the promotion back to the top flight of Georgia. 2009, the re-naming in Baia Zugdidi. The home ground of the association is the Anaklia Stadium, which offers 1,000 spectators.
