FC Mika

Futbolayin Akumb MIKA Ashtarak is an Armenian football club, who comes from Ashtarak, but currently plays in Yerevan in the Bardsragujn chumb.

History

The club was founded in 1985 played for years unterklassig. At the end of the 1999 season, the club qualified for the relegation match against FC Kilikia Yerevan, which ended with a 1-0 success. The first season in the top flight, the club finished fourth. That same year, the first title in club history was celebrated as Swartnotz Yerevan could be defeated by a 2-1 in the cup final. The following year the Cup was defended by a successful on penalties against FC Ararat Yerevan. While starred in the league in the upper middle, succeeded in 2003, the third Cup victory against FC Bananz Yerevan managed a 1-0 win.

2004 MIKA was Armenian runner-up, however, had 16 points off the champions FC Pjunik Yerevan. In the following season as league runners were missing three points for the championship. The fourth Cup victory in 2005, this time by a 2-0 win against Cilicia Yerevan, and the following title defense in December 2006 against Pjunik Yerevan ( 1-0 win ) they moved to Ararat Yerevan past record as winner.

Games against German teams

2005 the team played in the first round of the UEFA Cup qualification against 1 FSV Mainz 05 in the first leg ( 14.07. ) Had to admit defeat with 0:4 but in the return game ( 28.07 ) managed a 0-0 draw.
