FC Rechitsa-2014

The FK -97 Wedrytsch Retschyza (White Russian ФК Ведрыч -97 Рэчыца, Russian ФК Ведрич -97 Речица / FK Wedritsch -97 Retschiza ) is a football club from the Belarusian city Retschyza. He currently plays in the Perschaja Liha, the second- highest division of Belarus.

History

The club was founded in 1952 as Dnjaprowez Retschyza. In 1962 he changed his name to Dnjapro Retschyza, 1977 in Naftawik Retschyza and 1980 in Sputnik Retschyza.

After the independence of Belarus, he was a founding member Wedrytsch Retschyza the top division of the country, the Wyschejschaja Liha. He was a member of the League as the only climber, having previously played in the second highest regional league of Belarus within the Soviet Union. In the founding of the 1992 season the highest league Wedrytsch achieved his best result with the 8th Place. In subsequent seasons, the team came out no longer on the 12th Place and eventually was relegated in 1996 as 16.

After the descent 1997, a new foundation of the association as a FK Wedrytsch -97 Retschyza was. After three years in second-rate Pershaya Liha managed second in the promotion back to the top flight, but where the team was able to maintain only two years. Since the 2002 season Wedrytsch -97 Retschyza continually playing second-rate.

In the Belarusian Cup team in 1993 reached the final, which they lost with 1-2 against Neman Grodno. 2001 was Wedrytsch -97 one more time in the Cup semi-finals, where one (0-0 at home and 1-1 away ) eliminated against the eventual Cup winner Belschyna Bobruisk after two draws on the away goals rule.
