FC Red Star Zürich

The football club Red Star is a Swiss football club from the city of Zurich. Currently the team plays in the second league interregional, the fifth -highest league in Switzerland.

History

FC Red Star was founded in 1905 and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2005. The largest sporting highlights were the seasons in the then National League B and reaching the semi-finals in the Swisscom Cup in 1999, where only the Grasshopper Club Zurich meant terminus.

Stadium

FC Red Star wears its home games at the sports complex Allmendfeld Brunaupark. The capacity is 2030 spectators, of which 30 seats and 2000 standing places are.
