FC Ruggell

The FC Ruggell ( Football Club Ruggell ) is the football club in the community Ruggell in Liechtenstein. The association founded in 1958 and has 225 members, the club colors are green and white.

The men's team currently plays in the 3rd Swiss league. Team reached six times, most recently in 2007, the final of the Liechtenstein Football Cup, but the competition never won so far.

The FC Ruggell was until 2008 the only Liechtenstein Football Association with its own women's team. This was quite successful and at times even took part in the game now the Swiss National League A. After the descent 2006, the team played two years in the National League B, where she managed the sports promotion back to the top flight in the 2007 /2008 season. However, the club pulled the women's team for financial reasons from playing back.
