FC SKA-Energiya Khabarovsk

The FK SKA- Energiya Khabarovsk (Russian Фк СКА - " Энергия » Хабаровск, scientific transliteration Fk SKA- Energiya Khabarovsk ) is a Russian football club based in the Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk. The club plays in the first division.

History

The club SKA- Energiya Khabarovsk Founded in 1946, reached a highest league in their history, the 1st Division, the second division in the Russian league system.

The club was in its long history been many different names: Until 1953, the team from Khabarovsk ran on as DKA, then in 1954, ODO. In the years 1955 and 1956 the club DO Khabarovsk said. In 1957, again followed by a name change, so that it now OSK said. In the years 1957 to 1959 the team ran on as Skwo before the date the longest continuous name for the Khabarovsk association was found. From 1960 to 1999, the team ran for almost 40 years as on SKA - since 1999 with the addition of " Energy".

Since 1957, the club took part in the Soviet championships. So far, they never succeeded in rising to the first football league in the country, neither to the Soviet times even after the establishment of the Russian Premjer League. The best result was 6th place in 1980 in the first Soviet Division, and the 4th place in the 2012/ 13 in the first division. In 1963 the club moved into the quarterfinals of the Soviet football Cup. At the end of the 2012/13 season SKA- Energia arrived at the relegation place, but lost both games to the FK Rostov, remaining second-rate.
