FC Tighina

FC Tighina Bender (Russian Тигина Бендеры ) is a football club from the city of Bender ( Romanian too Tighina; Russian: Бендеры, Bendery ). He plays in Divizia A, the second highest Moldovan league. The club colors are blue and black.

History

The club was founded in 1950 and has the longest tradition of all Moldovan football club. Over the course of 60 years he played under different names. In Soviet times, Bender played in the second division, in the first Moldavian Championship 1992 took Bender to 4th place, they could be repeated in the 1994/95 season. This was the best result ever achieved by the association.
