FC Torpedo-Kadino Mogilev

The FK Tarpeda Mogilev ( white russian ФК Тарпэда Магілёў, Russian ФК Торпедо Могилёв / FK Torpedo Mogilev ) is a former football club from the city of Mogilev, Belarus. The club dissolved in 2005 played for ten years in the Wyschejschaja Liha, the top division of the country, and was in 1995 in the final of the Belarusian Cup. He wore its home games in the 3500 -seat Tarpeda Stadium.

History

The club was founded in 1959 as Metallurg Mogilev, from 1962 to 1963, he was named Kirowiec Mogilev, then again from 1979 Torpedo Metallurg and Moguilew or Tarpeda Mogilev. After he was active in the Belarusian league within the Soviet Union before, he was in 1992 after the independence of Belarus of the founding members of the Wyschejschaja Liha. He reached in his first season with his best finish rank 7. In 1995, Tarpeda Mogilev in the final of the Belarusian Cup, which the team lost 6:7 in a penalty shoot-out against Dinamo -93 Minsk, after it had been after regular time and extra time 1:1.

As of 1996 the club was known as Tarpeda - Kadina Mogilev, in the 2000 season he went down after nine years of excellence from the Wyschejschaja Liha and played until 2005 in the sub-prime Pershaya Liha. After the 2005 season, the club was disbanded due to financial problems. As the successor club was built, the FK Savit Mogilev.

Savit Mogilev

The FK Savit Mogilev began in 2006 in the third-class Druhaya Liha, where he took second place, and ascended into the Pershaya Liha. There he was 2007 champion in the season and thus created the walkover in the highest league in the country. However, the team missed the 2008 season with a 15th place in the league, in the 2009 season, the club did not start in the Pershaya Liha.
