Febreze

Febreze is an odor neutralizer of the U.S. manufacturer Procter & Gamble. The product has been tested since 1996 in various market segments and has been marketed since June 1998 over a large area in the European and North American retail. The range includes air fresheners, fabric fresheners, perfume stand, plug fragrance and scented candles.

According to the manufacturer based odor crushing property of cyclodextrins to Febreze whose molecular structure includes a cavity, in which those molecules that belong to odor-causing substances, enclosed so that it can no longer be perceived by humans. In 2002, the American animal rights organization American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ( ASPCA ) responded with a product test to claims that Febreze have taken detrimental effect on pets. The allegations have not been confirmed, Febreze has been awarded a seal of the organization.
