FEBS Letters

The FEBS Letters are a scientific journal published by Elsevier on behalf of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies ( FEBS ). The first issue appeared in July 1968. Journal appears in some months with two, in others with three issues. The topics that are published in the journal are broad in scope. In addition to biochemistry (including protein chemistry, enzymes, nucleic acids, metabolism and immunochemistry ) also include structural biology, biophysics, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, molecular genetics, molecular biology, molecular cell biology (including signal transduction, intracellular transport, regulation of cellular proliferation, cell - cell interactions ) and systems biology dealing with the subjects of the FEBS Letters.

The Impact Factor was in 2012 at 3,582. According to the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge is the journal impact factor with this in the category Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at 97th of 290 journals in the category of Biophysics at 18 out of 72 journals in the category and Cell Biology at 80th 184 magazines out.
