Feddan
Feddans ( from Arabic فدان Faddan ) is an Arabic square measure, which is mainly used in Egypt, Syria and Sudan.
The feddan had two different dimensions. The common feddans had
- Generally 1 feddan = 400 Quadrat-Kasab/Quadrat-Kussabeh = 59.290 arene (French )

- Tax 1 feddan = 333 1/3 square Kasab = 44,591 arene (French ).
- The Kasab was calculated with 6 1/3 of spades beledi.

There was Feddani Rumani ( Romanesque ), Feddani Islamic ( Muslim ) and Feddani hiraß ( Ackerfeddan ).
- Feddani Rumani was the arable land that has worked with you ( 2) steers in a day (24 hours).
- Feddani Islam was the arable land that have been processed with (2) steers in a 12 - hour day.
- Feddani hiraß was the arable land that have been processed with (2) ox from morning until noon. Another name who Feddani Ers or Erdfeddan.
