Federation of International Lacrosse
The Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL; until August 2008 International Lacrosse Federation, ILF ) has been founded in 1974 and since then contributes significantly to the promotion and development of Männerlacrosse around the world at. In August 2008, the International Lacrosse Federation (ILF ) and the International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Associations ( IFWLA ) was summarized for the Federation of International Lacrosse.

The FIL passes, among other things, the Lacrosse World Championships, the Lacrosse World Indoor Championships and the U-19 Lacrosse World Championships for Men. The women's teams are members of the International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Associations.
