Federico Galera DÃez
Federico Galera Díez ( born February 11, 1978 in Madrid ) is a Spanish ski mountaineer and mountain runners.
Galera began in 1996 with the ski mountaineering in the same year and took part in his first competition. From 1998 he was a member of the Spanish national ski mountaineering. Even as Espoir he scored two European titles, was Spanish Champion and Spain 's Cup winner. In the men he was a three time Spain Cup winners four times and won the Spanish Championship. At the World Cup in ski mountaineering in 2006, he scored the sixth place in the Staffeldisziplen with Javier Martín de Villa, Manuel Pérez Brunicardi and Agustí Roc Amador. In the same year he won among others the Cross Alpino del Los Frailes Mountain Running
His brother Carlos is also active ski mountaineer.
