Federico Luppi
Federico Luppi ( born February 23, 1936 in Ramallo, Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentine film and theater actor. Since June 2003 he has additionally Spanish citizenship.
Life
Federico Luppi was born as the son of Italian immigrants in the city of Ramallo in northern Argentina. His film debut was in 1964 in Luppi, Rodolfo Kuhn's The Comedy idol. The film participated in the competition of the 15th International Film Festival of Berlin. A few years later, Federico Luppi was for Leonardo Favios directorial debut Romance of Aniceto and Francisca front of the camera. The award-winning film was very successful with critics and audiences and made his actors and the director overnight known throughout the country. Since then, Luppi is one of the most successful actors of Argentina. He was known primarily as an actor in various horror movies.
