Feigenbaumklippe
The Feigenbaumklippe, also called Feigenbaum pulpit, near Romkerhalle in the unincorporated area of the Harz Lower Saxony, Goslar district is a rock formation in Okertal in the resin.
Geographical location
The Feigenbaumklippe is located in the Upper Harz Harz nature park approximately 800 meters northeast of the settlement Romkerhalle (about 335 m above mean sea level. ) On the southwest flank of the mountain Huth ( 604.8 m) at about 540 m in height; to the west the landscape for Oker falls with there extending federal highway from 498 ( Oker - Romkerhalle - Okerstausee - Altenau ).
Hiking and view options
Passing the Feigenbaumklippe leads the trail from the fort to Romkerhall waterfall. The coined by clear signs of Wollsackverwitterung granite is a popular hiking destination of the offer valley views to the west. The viewpoint is backed by a railing.
