War propaganda film about the attack of the German army invaded Poland in September 1939. The film has no storyline and complements the material with newsreel footage of Leni Riefenstahl for a planned film.

Production and reception

It was produced by the German newsreel or by Fritz Hippler, who was a senior official in the Reich Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda Joseph Goebbels. Opening day was the 8th Februar 1940.

The Film-Kurier wrote: "This film had to come in the history of warfare only unexampled lightning victory over the military power of a 38 - million - state required a summary cinematic representation.. "
