Felipe Solís Olguín

Felipe R. Solís Olguín ( born December 18, 1944 † 23 April 2009) was a Mexican archaeologist, anthropologist and historian. He was also from 2000 until his death in 2009 curator and director of the National Museum of Anthropology (Mexico) in Mexico City.

Life

1997 Solís worked as a professor of a university course, which with the exploration of Central America focuses on the philosophical and literary Faculty of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Felipe Solís Olguín died on 23 April 2009 at a cardiac arrest.

Writings

Solís published nearly 200 articles and 30 books as author and co-author in his specialist areas of Central American cultures.
