Félix Dja Ettien

Félix Dja Ettien ( born September 26, 1979 in Abidjan ) is an Ivorian football player. After over ten years of residence in Spain Ettien has a Spanish passport.

Playing career

In his youth, Félix Ettien played the Ivorian club USC Bassam. After the Junior World Cup 1997, he moved at the age of 17 years along with his Ivorian compatriot Idrissa Keita to Levante, where he played for eleven years. His entry there was difficult, because not only disappeared shortly after the signature of his Italian advisors with the entire assets of the Ivorian, but he was not initially observed due to the lack of language skills by players and coaches, and if he felt sick, he was always associated with AIDS-related. Nevertheless Ettien became the undisputed master player and ran into almost 300 first and second division duels for the Levantine on. After the descent in the 2007/ 08 season, he was like many of his teammates and as the senior player at UD Levante sorted out. In November 2008, he completed a trial at Energie Cottbus.

For the Ivorian national Ettien played 25 matches so far (November 2008), but was not called since 2004.
