Félix Lázaro Martínez

Félix Lázaro Martinez SCHP ( born March 2, 1936 in Logroño ) is a Spanish religious clergyman and Bishop of Ponce.

Life

Félix Lázaro Martinez joined the Congregation of the Piaristen and received on 9 April 1961, the ordination. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 20 March 2002 on the Coadjutor Bishop of Ponce.

He received his episcopal consecration of the Bishop of Ponce, Ricardo Antonio Surinach Carreras, on 25 April of the same year; Timothy Paul Andrew Broglio were co-consecrators, Apostolic Nuncio to the Dominican Republic and Apostolic Delegate in Puerto Rico, and Iñaki Mallona Txertudi CP, Bishop of Arecibo.

After the retirement Ricardo Antonio Surinach Carreras ' he followed him on 11 June 2003 by the Bishop of Ponce.
