Félix Luna

Félix Luna ( born September 30, 1925 in Buenos Aires, † November 5, 2009 in Buenos Aires ), also known under the pseudonym Falucho, was an Argentine lawyer, historian, writer, and politician of the Unión Cívica Radical.

In 1967 he founded the journal for South American history Todo es Historia, and led her up to his death. His well-known works include mainly seals and history Scientific standard works. Some songs by him were often set to music. The Zamba " Alfonsina y el mar", which he wrote with Ariel Ramírez in memory of the writer Alfonsina Storni, is an integral part of Argentine folklore.

He was a member of the Aurora Group, a think tank that sees self-understanding after in opposition to Kirchnerism and other groups, such as the Carta Abierta.

Life

Luna's family is from the province of La Rioja. His grandfather was a founder of the Unión Cívica Radical ( UCA) in the region. His uncle, Pelagio Luna, Hipólito Yrigoyen was next Vice President of Argentina. Luna studied at the University of Buenos Aires ( UBA) and received his law license in 1952.

Between 1956 and 1958 he headed the Secretariat for Social Work in the Department of Labor. He was an advisor of the Embassy of Bern and Monte video content among 1958 and 1962. He led between 1986 and 1989, the Secretariat of Culture of the municipalidad Buenos Aires.

He was from 1992, a voting member of the Academia Nacional de la Historia, from 1998, the Academia Nacional de Ciencias Morales y Politicas and as of 2000 the Academia Nacional de Periodismo.

Between 1984 and 1987 he was speaker of the Comisión Nacional de Museos y de Monumentos y Places of Historical ( " National Commission for Museums, monuments and historical sites "). He sat in front between 1985 and 1989 of Trustees of the Museo de Luján and then headed to 1993 research by the manzanas de las Luces. He was also from 1991, member of the Board of Trustees of Antorchas Foundation.
