Felix Poletti

Felix Poletti ( born July 23, 1965) is a former Swiss Skeleton driver.

Felix Poletti from Zurich's Bob Club debuted in January 1995 at a skeleton World Cup race in Altenberg, where he was 27. In the very next race in Igls, he improved to eleventh place in the third race, he came in Koenigssee in ninth place for the first time among the top ten. In the same year he took part in Lillehammer in his first Skeleton World Championships, where he finished tenth. In the following years Poletti repeatedly regained good rankings, as a third place in a World Cup race in La Plagne in December 1997. His best World Cup season, he drove 1996/96 as the seventh of the overall World Cup. Poletti's most outstanding result on the international scene was winning the bronze medal at the 1998 World Championships in St. Moritz. In 2002 he took part in the re- discharged at the Olympic Games for the first time since 1948 Skeleton regular competitor and was 16 in 2003 he ended his international career and became a coach, but he still takes in the race for the Swiss championship.
