Félix Serrallés

Felix Juan Serralles IV (* June 24, 1992 in Ponce ) is a Puerto Rican race car driver. He started in 2013 in the European Formula 3

Career

Serralles began his motorsport career in 2001 in karting, where he remained active until 2005. After a break to end his formal education Serralles joined us in 2007 in the North American Formula racing and remained until 2009 Skip Barber Regional Series. In 2009 he also began to ride in the Skip Barber National Championship. In 2010 he won two races in this championship and was third overall. In addition, he competed in the U.S. F2000 National Championship and the F2000 Championship Series. In the U.S. F2000 National Championship, he finished a race in second place, but since he participated as a guest driver, he did not come in the standings. He also made in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge first experience in GT racing and Formula Ford single - race and as a guest of the British Formula Renault Winter Cup first experience in Europe.

2011 moved Serralles to Europe. He received a contract with Fortec Motorsport and came in several series used. In the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup he finished the season with regular points finishes in twelfth place in the drivers' standings. He defeated internally Will Stevens, who finished fourth. In addition Serralles took part in several races of the British Formula Renault as a guest. He once came in second place to the finish. In the ensuing winter series of the British Formula Renault, he participated as a regular driver and reached two third places to eighth place in the overall standings. His team-mate Oliver Rowland decided the series for themselves.

Early 2012 took part Serralles for Giles Motorsport at the Toyota Racing Series. While his team-mate Nick Cassidy won the championship, Serralles finished the season with a win from eighth place in the driver standings. He subsequently received a cockpit with Fortec Motorsport for the 2012 season of the British Formula 3 Championship. He managed to equal the season opener a race to decide for themselves. With a total of five wins Serralles was named best Fortec pilot third in the drivers' standings. In addition, he completed six guest appearances in the Formula 3 Euro Series. 2013 joined Serralles for Giles Motorsport again in the Toyota Racing Series. He won two races and finished sixth overall. As the year progresses Serralles went in 2013 in the European Formula 3 Championship for Fortec at the start. Two second places were his best results. He finished the season as the second-best driver of his racing team in eleventh place. In addition Serralles took in 2013 for Fortec Motorsport part in a meeting of the British Formula 3.
