Felixsee

Felixsee, Lower Feliksowy jazor, is a municipality in the district of Spree- Neisse in Brandenburg.

History

The community Felixsee was taken on December 31, 2001 the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities

  • Friedrichshain ( Frycowy Gaj )
  • Small Loitz ( Łojojc )

Time.

The youngest district of Friedrichshain is. He first appeared around 1768 as a settlement for the workers of the glassworks. Patron, the Elector of Saxony, Friedrich August III.   • Carl Jack (1840-1864), honored as a hero Prussian soldier, was born in Bohsdorf.
  • Erwin Strittmatter (1912-1994), described his childhood and youth in Bohsdorf and Spremberg in the partially autobiographical novel trilogy The store.
  • Walter Kaiser (1923-1965), German engineer, first superintendent of the television piston work Friedrichshain, lived and died in Friedrichshain.
  • Solveig Bolduan (* 1958), German painter and sculptor, lives and works in small Loitz.
