Fender Showmaster

Showmaster is the name of an electric guitar.

The emcee was in 1998 the late response by Fender on the development of so-called superstrate. These built by companies like Ibanez Stratocaster -style guitars on the cutting edge of technology had the classic Stratocaster outstripped.

After several failed attempts in the CBS era and immediately thereafter brought Fender Showmaster 1998 on the market. She had all the important features that characterize the superstrate: a more aggressive styled body with deeper cutaways, a modern, voting stable tremolo, two humbuckers or two humbuckers and a single coil as pickups and a complex finish.

The Showmaster series has been commercially successful and is still in production. This success was certainly not insignificant to the financial recovery of Fender after the spin-off of CBS in.
