Fenghao

When Feng Hao - site (Chinese丰镐 遗址/丰镐 遗址, Pinyin Feng Hào Yízhǐ, English and Feng Hao sites / Fenghao site / Feng Hao sites ) is, to the ruins of two capitals from the period of the Western Zhou Dynasty - Fengjing丰 邑and Haojing镐京- in Chang'an, Xi'an in China's Shaanxi Province.

The city was founded by King Wen Fengyi ( Zhou Wen wang ) built, it is located west of the river Feng He (沣 河) in Anyang county, Shaanxi province.

The city Haojing was built by King Wu ( Zhou Wu wang ), it is located east of Feng He, on the northern edge of the ( land sink) Kunmingchi昆明 池(Kunming Chí昆明 池) of the Han period.

Archaeological investigations and excavations were found in the field of Feng Hao and palace ruins, foundations of rooms, storage caves, craft remains, burial sites and tombs car (车马坑, chēmǎkēng ).

The site is for research into the society of the time of the Western Zhou Dynasty of great importance.

The Feng Hao factorysite since 1961 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 1-143 ).
