Life

Atkine has paternal Russian roots. He spent his childhood in Latin America. He began his movie career in the early 1970s, when he took over for the first time a role for Les petits enfants d' Attila. From then on he was a regular in front of the camera until today hardly a year in which he does not participate in at least one movie or series on television. Not infrequently he embodies Russians or because of its distinct character head idiosyncratic characters. Among the many films with his participation, including many international productions include well-known as the last night of Love and Death by Woody Allen. In the recent time Atkine was engaged, among others, for Alexander by Oliver Stone, one of the most famous films with his participation after the turn of the millennium.

Because of its distinctive voice Atkine is in France a sought-after speaker for audio books and radio productions as well as a well-known voice actor. He is the French voice of Dr. House.

The trained stage actor before his film career began a stage career and is also available after the turn of the millennium regularly on stage.
