Ferenc Bene

Ferenc Bene [ fɛrɛnts bɛnɛ ] ( born December 17, 1944 in Balatonújlak; † 27 February 2006 in Budapest) was a Hungarian national football team.

Success with Újpesti Dózsa

He began his career with 17 years at the club Újpesti Dózsa, for whom he played for 17 years. Between 1961 and 1978 he scored 417 league games for the club 303 hits. Olympic gold medal with the national team

On October 14, 1962, the 17 -year-old attacking talent of Ujpesti Dozsa debuted at the international match in Budapest against Yugoslavia (0-1) in the national team. In 1964, he was with the national team third at the European Football Championship in Spain. After the end of his playing career, he worked as a trainer, including in Norway. In Újpest he was primarily active in the youth field, but trained in 1992-93 and the first team. Bene fugal as assistant coach of his former team-mates Antal Dunai as this led as head coach of the Hungarian U21 to the Olympic play in Atlanta in 1996.
