Ferenc Duschek

Franz Duschek ( born August 28, 1797 in Radowesitz, near Bilin in Bohemia, † October 17, 1873 in Csornkowecz ) was finance minister during the Hungarian Revolution.

Life

Franz Duschek completed his studies in oven, Eger and Pest in 1819 and joined as a trainee at the Hungarian Court Chamber. Until 1845 he went there to vice Präses. Although he was not revolutionary minded, he was inspired by Kossuth, who had taken over the Ministry of Finance, do in the first independent Hungarian government as Under Secretary of State in that department and followed the national defense committee after Debrecen. Under the Ministry Szemere Duschek received the financial portfolio. He was followed by the Government in July 1849 on its second flight to Szeged, where he was granted by the Reichstag a new loan of 60 million on July 29. After the arms stretching at Világos on August 13, 1849, he handed the Austrian plenipotentiaries to about 5 million in gold and silver forming amount treasury. Since then, he lived as a private citizen, without being prosecuted, Hungary and died on 17 October 1873 in Csornkowecz.
