Fergus O'Brien

Fergus O'Brien ( born March 30, 1930) is an Irish politician and sat from 1973 to 1992 in Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish Parliament.

O'Brien was elected in 1973 for Fine Gael in the 20th Dáil Éireann. Overall, he was re-elected five times. During his time as an MP ( Teachta Dala ), he held several government ministerial posts.

O'Brien also belonged to the Dublin City Council and held on 30 June 1980 to June 1981, the Office of the Mayor of (Lord Mayor of Dublin).
