Fernando Larrazábal Bretón

Fernando Larrazábal Breton ( born August 11, 1962 in Oaxaca ) is a Mexican politician. He is since 2009 (currently September 2011) mayor of the city of Monterrey. Larrazábal is a member of the Partido Acción Nacional.

He has a degree in civil engineering from ITESM Monterrey Campus.

Before he became mayor, he was mayor in San Nicolá and member of the Congress of Nuevo León.

Family

Beginning of September 2011 was released a video where his brother Manuel Jonás Larrazábal is seen in the acceptance of a large sum of money in a casino. Manuel Jonás Larrazábal was arrested on 1 September and placed under house arrest without charge. Early November, pulled the Casino Red Company dismissed the appeal and he was released without charge.

Fernando Larrazabal is married and has three daughters.
